Transformer fire threatens electricity supply in Delmas

An Eskom transformer in Delmas, Mpumalanga caught fire this morning.

The cause of the sudden fire is unknown to Eskom.

According to reports, no one got injured.

This fire signifies a threat to the supply of electricity to so many residents in the area.

The pictures of the fire incident went viral on various social media platforms.

Flames and smoke could be seen emanating from the transformer’s cubicle

However, Eskom made it known that its teams are already on site.
