COVID-19 in SA: 110 deaths reported with 1,633 new infections
According to report from the Health Department, the number of COVID-19 deaths in South Africa has increased by 110.
Most of the deaths have come from Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga.
The total number of coronavirus related deaths recorded so far in the country is 14,889.
In the past 24 hours, there’s been a confirmation of 1,633 new infections.
As it stands now, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa has gotten to 638,517.
The Health Department has also reported that 563,891 people have recovered from the virus. This makes the recovery rate stand at 88 percent.
