Newcastle make Steve Bruce decision ahead of Tottenham clash
Newcastle vs Tottenham
Newcastle are set to face off with Tottenham in a Premier League clash this coming Sunday.
The Magpies head into the game on a dismal run of form which has seen them fail to pick up a win in the league so far this term.
This has left the North East outfit floundering in 19th place in the Premier League whilst also having conceded the joint-most goals in the PL in 2021/22 along with Norwich City.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are currently 8th in the English top-flight having won four and lost three from seven.
Newcastle make Steve Bruce decision
Ahead of Sunday’s game, Newcastle would release a statement regarding Steve Bruce. This was, of course, coming from Newcastle’s new owners, with it confirmed last week that they had been taken over by the SAPIF.
🤝 An investment group led by the Public Investment Fund, and also comprising PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media, has completed the acquisition of 100% of Newcastle United Limited and Newcastle United Football Club Limited from St. James Holdings Limited.

This now means that Newcastle United now have the richest owners in world football.
Said new owners released a statement on Friday confirming Bruce will be in charge vs Spurs. This comes amidst mounting reports that Bruce’s days at St James’ Park are numbered.
“Steve has been very professional in our dealings with him and he and his coaching team will take the team on Sunday. If we make any changes going forward, Steve will be the first to know but, in the meantime, we wish him the best of luck in his 1,000th match as a manager and will be joining you in getting right behind the team. “Thank you for the warm welcome you have given us. We can’t wait to be at St. James’ Park with you.”
