Magpies willing to pay big for Willock

Joe Willock is still very much a wanted man by Newcastle and Steve Bruce this summer.

His goals whilst on loan last season meant he became an integral part of the team who easily survived the drop in the end.

However, Arsenal have been uncertain as to risk losing another player after a 6 month renaissance.

Having lost Emi Martinez to Villa and seen him become one of the league’s best, it makes sense they are hesitating.

However, the Magpies are willing to pay a big fee to get him with some suggestions claiming a 25 million pound deal has been agreed.

Ramsey wages too great

Newcastle also saw links to another player with Arsenal history and Aaron Ramsey.

Leaving Arsenal in 2019 for Juventus, it hasn’t worked out brilliantly in Turin.

Injury and rotation have stunted opportunities for the Welsh international and the Italian side are open to a sale.

Newcastle though are likely to be put off by his massive wages signed when he moved on a free transfer.

This hasn’t stopped Romeo Agresti, Juve correspondent for Goal, suggesting the Magpies interest in the player.

Tuanzebe set for Villa

However one target which does not look likely to join Newcastle is Axel Tuanzebe.

The Manchester United defender is more likely to join Aston Villa this summer.

Villa have been on a big recruitment drive with the impending departure of Jack Grealish.

Emi Buendia, Leon Bailey and Danny Ings have so far arrived with a potential 100 million pound windfall to follow.

Newcastle would struggled to compete financially and that seems to have been the case in the Tuanzebe pursuit,
