The brand new Peloton Watch app now lets you use your Google Wear OS watch as a heart rate sensor while exercising. All watches running Wear OS 3.0 and above are supported, including Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic, Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro, Pixel Watch and others.

Besides tracking your heart rate in real time, this pairing also allows the calculation of your Strive Score (based on the time you spend in each heart rate zone). This score makes it easy to compare metrics between different exercises, from cycling to yoga.

Speaking of which, the app is supported by Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Guide, and Row. Pairing is pretty simple, just install the app on your watch, start a workout on your Peloton and open the Peloton Watch app, then hit connect. You can find a more detailed guide here.
