Netizen Reveals Why Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ Failed To Win A Grammy Award
A twitter user by name, ‘@Letter_to_Jack’ has shared on his social media page why Starboy Entertainment head, Wizkid fail to win a Grammy Award at the 2022 edition.
The 64th edition of the Grammy Awards, hosted by South Africa’s Trevor Noah was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Las Vegas, Nevada on April 4, 2022.
Wizkid whose album, ‘Made In Lagos’ was nominated for the prestigious award in the Best Global Music Album category lost it to respected and celebrated African musician, Angelique Kidjo’s album, ‘Mother Nature’.

Angelique Kidjo won the award after beating Rocky Dawuni, Daniel Ho & Friends, Wizkid, and Femi Kuti. According to the twitter post made by @Letter_to_Jack, he stated that; Angelique’s album ‘Mother Nature, dealt with the dangers of climate change-induced disasters and how they will impact Africa.
