The internet’s favorite sullen teen gets another run on Netflix. Wednesday, the hit the fallout from the Addams Family, is getting a second season, the streaming giant announced on Friday.

“More torture is coming. You’re in luck,” tweeted a Netflix account for the Wednesday Addams character.

The show, directed and produced by Tim Burton, debuted in November starring Jenna Ortega as the eldest daughter of the Addams clan. She goes to live in a boarding school called Nevermore for children with various supernatural abilities and soon finds herself trying to solve a mystery.

According to Netflix, Wednesday is one of its most successful series of all time. Over 182 million households watched the show.

wednesday too went viral after a scene featuring a school dance has gained momentum on TikTok. Netflix said the #WednesdayAddams hashtag has garnered over 22 billion views on TikTok.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that despite the show’s popularity, the renewal process has been “protracted”, sparking baseless rumors about the show’s future.
