‘Mourinho levels of delusion’: Tottenham boss Nuno slammed over verdict following West Ham loss
West Ham vs Tottenham
West Ham and Tottenham faced off on Sunday afternoon in a Premier League clash.
Both sides headed into the game having enjoyed decent starts to the 2021/22 season.
Spurs had won five and lost three in eight before kicking off at the London Stadium, whilst the Hammers had won four, drawn two and lost two.
As a result, both sides were aware that a win against their London rivals would see them, temporality at least, move into a Champions League place.
The two teams could not be separated at the break, despite a few key chances at either end.
A definitive winner was eventually forthcoming, though, in the form of West Ham.
It would, of course, be the red hot Michail Antonio who fired his side into the lead, latching onto a corner from Aaron Creswell to smash an effort past Hugo Lloris to secure his side all three points.
🗣 “The man who had a trial at Tottenham as a 14-year-old relishes tearing through them!”
Michail Antonio has done it again for West Ham 🔥

Antonio has now scored six Premier League goals against Spurs, more than any other opponent in the competition:

Tottenham fans disagree with Nuno
Following the game, despite not have a single shot in the second 45, Nuno Espirito Santo stated that Spurs were the better team.

However, it is fair to say that most Tottenham fans disagree with Nuno, and have taken to Twitter to express their views, with just some of the tweets shown below:
In what aspect, exactly? Lazily dribbling around in their own zone and making sideways passes? Yeah. They were BRILLIANT at that part.
