The Moto X40, which is expected to launch as Motorola’s flagship successor to the Moto Edge X30, was reportedly spotted on the website Compulsory Certification of China (3C) database. According to a report, the 3C certification list for the Moto X40 has confirmed the previously announced specifications regarding the smartphone’s charging capabilities. The company has announced that the Moto X40 will launch in China on December 15.

According to MyFixGuide’s report citing unnamed industry sources, Motorola’s upcoming Moto X40 flagship smartphone has been spotted on China’s 3C certification website with model number XT2301-5. The listing would include details of two chargers.

The first charger on the 3C list is a 68W charger with 20V/3.4A output with model number MC-688N. Meanwhile, the second unit is a 125W gallium nitride (GaN) charger with 20V/6.25A output with model number MC-1258.

Specified data suggests that the Moto X40 could support fast charging up to 125W.

It should be noted that the 3C listing does not reveal any other specs or details regarding the Moto X40.

As mentioned earlier, the Moto X40 has been confirmed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. fast 125W.
