Moment an actress suffered sudden attack while filming inside a river stirs concern

A perplexing piece of footage on social media shows confusion erupting on the set of a Nollywood film when an actress purportedly becomes possessed by a marine spirit.

In the video sighted on Twitter, a movie director was captured co-ordinating a scene together by the river..

A couple was also seen in this specific scene, asking the river goddess for a child. A messenger from the river goddess appears to ask the couple why they prayed to her.

The actress who played the role of a river goddess’ messenger called out the name of the goddess, and suddenly, she started acting erratically in water.

The strange occurrence confused the director, cameraman, and others behind the scenes. They were more shocked when the messenger, who had deviated from her original script, slapped the other actor and the director while screeching and walking toward the deep end of the river.

It took the concerted efforts of the crew members to keep the allegedly possessed actress from going to the deep end of the river.

Reacting, some online users expressed disbelief, saying it is all a stunt. Others claim that shooting for such scenes, does attract negative energy.
