Mission Majnu: The Sidharth Malhotra-directed spy thriller trailer features Rashmika Mandana as a blind Pakistani woman

The official Mission Majnu trailer was unveiled by the film’s makers on Monday. The spy thriller has Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandana starring. Set in the 1970s, the film shows Sidharth’s character as India’s only hope of gathering information about Pakistan and failing in his mission. The film opens with the character of Parmeet Sethi informing then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi of Pakistan’s attempt to build nuclear weapons and suggesting taking the help of a RAW agent. Netflix India released the official trailer on YouTube as well as social media pages.

In the trailer, Sidharth plays a RAW agent who travels to Pakistan to learn more about that country’s nuclear capabilities and whether he is considering a bomb with India as a target. During his mission, Sidharth marries a blind Pakistani woman, played by Rashmika, after falling in love with her in order to establish his identity in the nation and his cover.

During his mission in Pakistan, Sidharth works as a tailor, plumber, servant, among others, to ensure that his country has access to all information.

Set in the 1970s, Mission Majnu is a patriotic thriller with a love story at its heart, featuring one of India’s top secret operations to neutralize Pakistan’s nuclear attack efforts.

Directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by RSVP and GBA, Mission Majnu is set to stream exclusively on the OTT Netflix platform from January 20, 2023.

Apart from this, Sidharth will also be seen in the upcoming action thriller Yodha opposite Disha Patani which is set to hit theaters on July 7, 2023.

He also has an upcoming Indian Police Force web series, which will air on the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform.
