Microsoft announced its earnings report for the FY22 Q3 period on Tuesday, and during the earnings call, CEO Satya Nadella revealed that more than 10 million people have streamed games using the Xbox Cloud Gaming service so far. nowadays. The quarterly report also revealed that Xbox games accounted for 4% growth in content and services, while Xbox hardware revenue grew 14% with an overall 6% increase in games revenue. In its forward-looking statements, the company said it “will focus more on cloud-based services with execution and competitive risks,” as well as lower revenue due to intense competition.

In March 2022, Microsoft India reduced subscription prices by approximately 28%, with a price drop for Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions. The new subscription prices, active from April 1, start at Rs. 499 per month for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, while the annual subscription is now available at Rs. 5,999.
