Microsoft Outlook and Teams unavailability reported due to "network issue"

Microsoft said it was investigating an issue that caused its messaging and video conferencing tools to crash for thousands of users early Wednesday.

The tech giant reported “issues affecting multiple Microsoft 365 services,” including its Outlook and Microsoft Teams services, which serve many businesses. Just before 5 a.m. EST, he said he had “isolated the issue to a network configuration issue” and was working on a fix.

“We have identified a potential network issue and are reviewing telemetry to determine next steps for troubleshooting,” he said.
