Messi Had Stellar Individual Performance At Qatar 2022 –Kroos
Former Germany midfielder, Toni Kroos, believes that Paris Saint-Germain winger, Lionel Messi had a stellar performance for Argentina at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Messi’s heroics inspired his team to their first FIFA World Cup trophy in 36 years after defeating France 4-2 on penalties in the final following a 3-3 stalemate at full time at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Sunday, December 18.
Messi bagged two goals and Angel Di Maria scored one for Argentina, while Kylian Mbappe scored a hat trick for France to take the game to penalty kicks. Argentina won 4-2 on penalties.

According to Madriduniversal.com, Kroos hailed Messi’s overall showing as the best individual performance he has seen at the FIFA World Cup.
“Messi totally deserves it,” Kroos said.
“I haven’t seen an individual performance like his in this tournament. He didn’t play for clubs I like, but I have to be honest.”
Messi was the second-highest goalscorer at Qatar 2022 with seven goals and he had the most assists at the tournament with three.
Messi also won the golden ball award which is given to the best player of the tournament.
The win was Argentina’s third time winning the FIFA World Cup after 1978 when they hosted the tournament and Mexico ’86 edition.
