Marvels Release Delayed by Disney, Captain Marvel Sequel Set to Arrive Nov. 10

Disney has changed its release schedule by moving the Marvel Studios movie The Marvels from summer to fall.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, an American entertainment outlet, Brie Larson’s starring The Marvels has been pushed back from July 28 to November 10.

Along the same lines, the theme park-based Haunted Mansion will take over the July 28 slot from August 11.

The Marvels is a sequel to Captain Marvel, which grossed $1 billion (about Rs. 8,300) worldwide. It’s directed by Candyman director Nia DaCosta and stars Teyonah Parris as the adult Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel.

The actress made her Marvel debut with WandaVision, which included screenwriter Megan McDonnell of The Marvels, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

It also stars Ms. Marvel, Iman Vellani, as Kamala Khan in a story in which these three heroes switch places each time they use their powers. The premise was teased in the Ms. Marvel finale, which featured an appearance from Larsons Captain Marvel.

Marvel is set to slow down and expand its Disney+ TV production after releasing 18 stunning projects in TV and film in 2021 and 2022.

They just released Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is Marvel Studios’ 31st theatrical release, and stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, with Peyton Reed directing. It also features Jonathan Majors’ villain Kang on the big screen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel has Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is due out May 5, and on the small screen is set to debut the second season of Loki and Samuel L. Jacksons Secret Invasion this year.
