Marquinhos is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for France’s Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, where he is a defender, and the Brazil national team. He is primarily a central defender, but can also play as a right-back or defensive midfielder. Marquinhos is considered to be one of the best defenders in the world. After winning the 2012 Copa Libertadores with Corinthians, he moved to Roma for an estimated €3 million.
When Roma reached the Coppa Italia Final in Marquinhos’ only season, he was a regular.
