Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford ‘would welcome’ option of signing for Barcelona
A recent report from Spain has linked Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford with FC Barcelona.
Marcus Rashford’s Manchester United stint
Marcus Rashford has, of course, been a mainstay in Manchester United’s side for many years now.
The forward made a big impact on his league debut, netting a brace to help his side secure a win over Arsenal in 2016:

Rashford has since gone on to rack up 283 appearances across all competitions for the Manchester outfit. In said ties, the 24-year-old has scored 91 and assisted 57.
Barcelona linked with Rashford
Rashford would miss the start of the current campaign due to him recovering from shoulder surgery.
He has since returned to the starting line-up but has not quite looked at his best. Under new boss Ralf Rangnick Rashford has been used as one of two strikers in a 4-2-2-2. However, his displays under the German have been pretty subpar, especially vs Norwich last weekend.
And now, Rashford is being linked with a move to Barcelona.
As reported by Spanish outlet Sport:
Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford , would welcome the option of signing for Barcelona
The report adds that Rashford is interested due to the ‘overbooking’ of attackers at United currently, adding that he is aware that this season his options to play have been reduced, so he ‘begins to test the possibility of leaving’.
Rashford’s current deal at Old Trafford runs till 2023, but Manchester United are believed to have the option to extend it by a year.
No potential transfer fee for Marcus Rashford is mentioned.
