Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho ruled out of England’s two upcoming World Cup qualifiers

England vs Andorra

England would begin their international break on Thursday evening.

The Three Lions faced off with Hungary in what was their first match since the Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy.

Gareth Southgate’s side would dominate proceedings at the Puskas Arena, eventually coming away with a resounding 4-0 win thanks to strikes from Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Harry Maguire and Declan Rice.

England are now set to turn their attentions to a home clash with Andorra on Sunday afternoon.

Andorra have picked up just one win from four in their opening 2022 World Cup qualifiers and England should have little issue dispatching them.

England’s final game of the current international break then sees them face off with Poland on Wednesday the 8th of September.

Poland currently sit second in England’s qualifying group and are likely to prove their toughest opponent of this month.

Sancho out of England ties

Ahead of the Andorra game, though, it has been revealed that England will be without Jadon Sancho for both of England’s upcoming qualifying ties.

The Manchester United midfielder is said to be out with a minor knock.

However, fans of the Red Devils should not worry too much, as Sancho is expected to recover in time for their clash with Newcastle next weekend:
