Manchester United update appears to provide insight into club’s stance on Solskjaer
An update from Manchester United on Monday has seemingly provided an insight into the club’s view on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following their 5-0 loss vs Liverpool.
Man United are a mess
Manchester United would be smashed 5-0 by Liverpool on Sunday evening in what was one of the club’s most embarrassing defeats in their storied history.
The game was over at the break after Liverpool netted four to set an unwanted record for Manchester United:

During the game, Manchester United fans would call for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked.
This was not at all surprising given that Man United are already eight points behind league leaders Chelsea after just nine games, are out of the League Cup, lost to Young Boys in the Champions League and struggled to beat a weakened Atalanta side last week.
Solskjaer’s job safe for now?
So, after suffering a seriously embarrassing defeat, Man United fans were no doubt hopeful of seeing the Norwegian sacked this week.
However, as mentioned above, a recent update on the part of Manchester United suggests that Ole’s job is safe for the time being.
The official Manchester United Twitter account posted an article with the caption ‘Ole is setting his sights on United’s next three games in a bid to fight back.’
This seemingly suggests that Solskjaer will at least be given the next three games to save his job.
The article itself is titled ‘OLE SETS OUT UNITED’S THREE-MATCH BATTLE PLAN’ again, seemingly suggesting that he will be in charge of Man United for the next three games at minimum.

However, those three ties are against Tottenham, Atalanta and Manchester City and, based on recent form, it is hard to see United picking up a win in any of those games, especially if Atalanta are able to welcome back the five players that missed out on the previous meeting due to injury.
