Manchester United star singled out for praise after impressive first half vs Burnley

Manchester United are currently locked in action with Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Red Devils headed into the Premier League clash looking to bounce back from their shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Middlesbrough this past Friday.

In the league, meanwhile, Manchester United began Tuesday 4^th, but with West Ham, Tottenham and Arsenal all hot on their heels.

So, with Burnley looking to be one of United’s easier opponents over the coming month, it was imperative they got off to a good start.

And United did exactly that. First, VAR would rule out a Raphael Varane goal as Harry Maguire was offside in the build-up.

Then, six minutes later, Bruno Fernandes found Marcus Rashford out on the left, who played it to Luke Shaw who ran to the byline and then found Paul Pogba with a low cross:

Paul Pogba praised

And, after finishing off a well-worked opener for Manchester United, Paul Pogba has been praised heavily online.

The Frenchman formed a great partnership with Scott McTominay in United’s midfield, helping to break up play and also get forward and contribute to the attack.
