Manchester United monitoring 18-year-old midfielder set to become available for free next summer
Recent reports stemming from France have credited Manchester United with an interest in Warren Bondo.
Who is Warren Bondo?
Warren Bondo is currently plying his trade in France’s second tier with AS Nancy.
Bondo would join Nancy in 2018 from fellow French outfit, CS Bretigny.
Bondo, who is just 18 years of age, originally joined Nancy’s youth side, but he was eventually promoted to the senior squad in 2020.
Since then, Bondo has featured on 26 occasions for Nancy, scoring two goals in the process. The majority of those outings have come in the current campaign, and generally saw the Evry-born star deployed as a central midfielder – but also occasionally as an attacking mid or on the left.
Bondo’s fine form for Nancy has also seen him earn a call-up for France’s under-19 side. He would make his debut in September of this year and has since notched a further five appearances – scoring one goal in the process.
Manchester United eyeing Warren Bondo
Now, as mentioned above, Bondo is being linked with Premier League powerhouse, Manchester United.
Bondo is currently set to be out of contract with Nancy from the summer of 2022. As a result, he can depart on a free next year and can sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from January.
And, as per Goal citing French outlet le10sport, Man United are one of the sides showing an interest:
