Lingard future hint
After being reduced to a bit-part role at Manchester United, Jesse Lingard would join West Ham on loan for the second half of 2020/21.
Lingard has since returned to Old Trafford. But with Jadon Sancho now also having joined United, there looks to be even more competition for Lingard to deal with now.
As a result, some likely expected the 28-year-old to be shipped off once again this summer.
However, recent comments on the part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggest this may not be the case as the Norwegian stated that Lingard is going to play a ‘big part’:
“Don’t forget Jesse Lingard. He has reinvented himself and he has come back the man that we know. With the quality he has, he is going to play a big part. I forgot him when I spoke about goalscorers.”
Sarr linked with Man United
A recent report from England has named Manchester United as one of the clubs showing an interest in Pape Sarr.
Sarr is currently plying his trade in Ligue 1 with Metz, whom he joined in September of 2020 after departing his home country of Senegal.
Sarr is a defensive midfielder by trade, but is also capable of playing slightly further forward.
Despite having had zero experience of European football before the 2020/21 season, and being just 18 years of age, Sarr has already begun to feature fairly regularly for Metz.
All told, he has featured 27 times for Metz, starting both their Ligue 1 games this term.
And according to the Daily Mai, all of Man United, Chelsea and Manchester City are tracking Sarr.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned in the report.
PSG willing to offer Pogba huge salary
Finally, PSG are reportedly willing to offer Paul Pogba a huge salary to join them next year.
Pogba’s current deal at Man United runs out next summer and as a result, he can negotiate a pre-contract deal with foreign clubs from January.
And according to the Independent, PSG are willing to pay Pogba €600,000-a-week (£510,000) from the start of next season to ensure his signing by outspending any potential rivals.
