Solskjaer & Manchester United
The writing looked to be on the wall for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United this past weekend.
The Manchester outfit suffered a humiliating 5-0 loss at the hands of Liverpool at Old Trafford.
This would move Man United eight points adrift of 1st-place Chelsea in the Premier League after just nine games.
All of this, combined with their early League Cup exit and some subpar displays in the Champions League pointed towards Solskjaer’s time at the club coming to an end.
It was even reported that Manchester United were considering sacking the Norwegian and that they had made initial contact with Antonio Conte.
However, earlier this week, Fabrizio Romano reported that Solskjaer will definitely be in charge of Manchester United when they face Tottenham this weekend, whilst the Telegraph claimed that the Norwegian has three games to save his job.

But with those games against Spurs, Atalanta and Manchester City, it does look as though Solskjaer’s time at United is all but up.
Following the Liverpool loss, it did look as though Antonio Conte, who as reported above Man United made contact with, was set to be the frontrunner to replace Ole.
However, a recent report suggested that Man United would distance themselves from Conte over financial issues.
And now, ESPN have reported that senior figures at Old Trafford have reservations about Conte’s abrasive personality and likely demands for significant spending in the transfer market.
That same report has claimed that Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has become a serious contender to replace OGS and has support within Man United.

Conte not ruled out yet, but concerns.

Hopefully not !!! His Crystal Palace away and Chelsea at Anfield showed him up in 2014 big time- they pissed away the league , those two games showed huge naivety from him tactically
