The Red Devils are still in the hunt for the Champions League places, sitting four points away from 4th place Arsenal but with two games in hand on the Gunners, as they look to try and salvage anything from a season that promised much, but has delivered precious little.
And, some early team news has been forthcoming that could make gaining ground even more difficult than it already is.
Manchester United handed mixed team news
Now, Manchester United have been handed mixed news on the personnel front ahead of the clash with Wolves, if reports are to be believed
As per Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic:
Harry Maguire is out injured for Manchester United’s match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford on Monday night.
However, against the odds:
The Athletic understands Bailly has a chance to play, despite not being seen at the team hotel on Sunday evening.
Were Bailly not passed fit, then the responsibility could fall to Phil Jones, although he has just 2 U23 games as preparation. Alternatively, Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Nemanja Matic could be fielded as options in a pinch.
Harry Maguire is OUT of today’s match v Wolves for Manchester United. Lindelof also still out. Bailly a doubt but should be fit. If not, Phil Jones could make first PL start since January 2020! @lauriewhitwell reports https://t.co/1KyrdldMVe

Will United miss their captain, or will a spell out of the headlines do him some good?
