Manchester City keen to beat Arsenal to Serie A star in January
Dusan Vlahovic catching worldwide appreciation
Dusan Vlahovic is the next taxi off the rank when it comes to star strikers.
The Fiorentina man, still just 21 years old, netted 21 times last campaign, and has proved it was no fluke, scoring 11 in 14 Serie A appearances so far this season.
As a result, he has a host of clubs chasing his signature, having confirmed that he will be leaving Fiorentina before or when his contract expires in 2023.
Dusan Vlahovic has now scored more goals than any other player in Serie A this season (11).

He has been linked with Arsenal, Juventus and Tottenham already, but it seems that new suitors have emerged for his signature.

City opt for Vlahovic as they seek a striker
Now, Pep Guardiola and Manchester City are allegedly in the hunt for the striker finding the back of the net for La Viola.
Of course, the Citizens were burned by a high-profile pursuit of Harry Kane in the summer, and thus failed to sign a striker when it seemed like the final jigsaw piece to their star-studded lineup.
Come January, however, they may well be looking to rectify that as they seek to defend their Premier League title from the strong opposition put up by both Chelsea and Liverpool.

As per the Daily Mail, citing Italian outlet La Republicca:
“The City is boss is said to be ‘in love’ with the Serbian forward’s goal-scoring ability and the Premier League giants have begun preliminary talks with Fiorentina”
With 18 months left on his current deal, a January move is certainly possible, but will it be to the northwest of England?
