Man United fans call for two key figures, one on the pitch and one off, to be moved on after Leicester
The Manchester United faithful have taken to social media in numbers on Saturday evening, to take aim at a pair of individuals, on the back of their side’s defeat to Leicester City.
Foxes emerge victorious
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were back in action a short time ago.
On the back of the international break coming to a close, the Red Devils made the trip to the King Power Stadium, for a Premier League meeting with Leicester City.
United headed into the clash desperate for a swift return to winning ways, after picking up just a solitary point from their two most recent fixtures prior to the break.
When all was said and done on Saturday afternoon, though, the woes of Solskjaer and co. only continued to mount.
A chaotic 90 minutes, during which the visitors actually took the lead early on, ultimately culminated in Leicester emerging on the right side of a 6-goal thriller.
Mason Greenwood and the returning Marcos Rashford proved the goalscorers for United, with the latter’s fine finish inside the closing ten minutes having appeared to set the stage for another last-gasp Reds comeback.
Such hopes, however, were quickly extinguished, as a stellar finish on the part of Jamie Vardy was swiftly followed by Patson Daka’s finish at the back post, to ensure that Brendan Rodgers’ hosts emerged with all three points.
Pogba & Ole targeted
In turn, on the back of the full-time whistle sounding at the King Power, it should come as little surprise to hear that the Man United faithful have since made crystal clear their frustrations with their side’s concerning form.
The Manchester giants have now managed just a solitary win from their last four in the Premier League, slipping four points of the pace of table-topping Liverpool in the process.
A whole host of high-profile names, both on and off the pitch, have been heavily targeted, including the likes of stuttering summer arrivals Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo.
A quick scan across social media, though, sees it quickly become clear that it is Paul Pogba and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who have been singled out as being most heavily at fault on Saturday.
The former proved sloppy in possession throughout the 90 minutes, with a lack of awareness regarding his defensive duties having proven costly en route to Leicester’s 3rd of the day.
Solskjaer, meanwhile, continues to count on moments of individual brilliance to bail him out amid lacklustre showings, culminating in mounting calls for the Norwegian’s head at Old Trafford:
Pogba jogging back. Get him out my club man

Persisting with Paul Labile Pogba will cost solskjaer his job. #LEIMUN #MUFC

Other than a CDM, Solskjaer has all the parts. And, what manager gets everything he wants anyway? Three years and no style of play. Never mind a trophy. Pathetic. #MUFC

Pogba is simply embarrassing when he’s given any kind of responsibility outside of the final third. Sell, replace, improve.

As soon as people realise United will never win the league with Paul Pogba in the starting 11 the better.
Sell him in January.
