A Nigerian father was overjoyed after his daughter surprised him with a brand new phone.

In a video currently trending on social media, the father was spotted singing praises after his daughter gave out the smartphone to him in a box.

The overjoyed father run around his compound flaunting his new phone to his neighbors as he expressed his undying gratitude to his daughter to the wonderful surprise.

In other news, Msurshima Lorshie, a 2-year-old girl is currently in a critical condition at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital(BSUTH) after she was reportedly shot in the private part by some Fulani herdsmen.

This was after the Fulani herdsmen attacked the Tiortyu community in the Tarka Local Government Area of the state.  The attack that happened on Monday 11th April was said to have caused the death of 15 people in the community including women and children with a number of people suffering from several injuries.

A 25-year-old mother named Mrs. Faith Iorshie told Vanguard that she left her 2-year-old daughter in the care of her grandfather when she left home with her husband to the farm. They had a small residence on the farm so they spent a few days in the far.

They were later alerted that some herdsmen are on their way to the community to attack but before they arrived in the community. the attack had already taken place.

“l left Msurshima in the custody of her grandfather, that is my husband’s father, and went to farm with my husband in a neighboring community where we spend few days the farm because we have a small residence on the farm,” she said.
