Liverpool boost: Andy Robertson pictured running ahead of Burnley
Liverpool vs Burnley
Liverpool are set to play their first home game of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign later this week.
The Reds kicked off their seaosn with a 3-0 win over Premier League new boys Norwich City last Saturday.
Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah were all on target for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with the latter’s goal a particular highlight of the match:

Liverpool must now turn their attentions to Burnley, who they face at Anfield in Saturday’s early kick-off.
Despite earning a shock win on Merseyside last season, the Clarets do head into the game as serious underdogs, especially given their dismal record again the top-six and also the fact they looked pretty woeful defensively vs Brighton last time out.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, Liverpool have provided something of an update on Andy Robertson.
The left-back missed the season-opener vs Norwich after picking an ankle injury in a pre-season friendly vs Athletic Bilboa earlier this month.
At the time, it was suggested that the Scotsman’s injury would see him out for weeks:
Told Andy Robertson set to be out for “weeks rather than months” with ankle ligament damage which feels like positive news given how bad that injury initially looked yesterday.https://t.co/fMzWLwuxwC

But the image posted on Tuesday by Liverpool suggests that Robertson is stepping up his recovery nicely.
The defender can be seen running with a training vest on, with Liverpool posting the caption ‘on the road to recovery’ to go along with the image:
