Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese Killers of the Flower Moon Set October Release Date

The upcoming historical drama film Killers Of The Flower Moon finally has a release date.
According to Variety, Killers of the Flower Moon, a historical drama about the serial targeting and murder of members of the oil-rich Osage tribe, will be released in limited theaters starting Oct. 6 and then hit wide release Oct. 20.
Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro (The Irishman), Brendan Fraser (The whale), as well as Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad) and Lily Gladstone (Reservation Dogs).
Killers of the Flower Moon is produced by Apple Original Films and will then begin streaming on Apple TV+ on an unspecified date. Paramount Pictures will partner with Apple for the theatrical release of the film. He’s expected to be a major player in awards season, Variety reported.
The film marks the next big collaboration between the director and the Oscar-winning actor after Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Audition and The Wolf of Wall Street.
Some film festival-goers will be able to preview the film before the fall, with multiple sources saying the film is set to debut at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, “where it will be one of the flashiest premieres,” according to Variety.
Other than that, DiCaprio was last seen in the satirical Don’t Look Up airing on Netflix. The film garnered positive feedback from netizens and also starred Jennifer Lawrence, Rob Morgan, and Jonah Hill in prominent roles.
Scorsese, meanwhile, last directed crime thriller The Irishman, starring De Niro in the lead role.
