Leicester City join race for Norwich starlet in potential January swoop
Leicester City join race for Norwich starlet in potential January swoop
Leicester City’s mixed season
Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City have endured a mixed season to date, crashing out of the Europa League and currently sitting in 10th place in the Premier League, having both won and lost 7 times so far this campaign.
And while they have had some issues in defence, where Johnny Evans, Wesley Fofana and Caglar Soyuncu have all had spells on the sidelines through various injuries, they have also been all too reliant on James Maddison to provide the sparks to their attacks, which Jamie Vardy has rounded off with his usual ruthlessness.
Into the next round of the FA Cup thanks to a 4-1 win against former manager Claudio Ranieri and Watford, as well as having dropped into the Europa Conference League, the games will begin to come thick and fast for the Foxes in the months to come, and they could need reinforcements.

Step forward, Todd Cantwell.
Norwich man targetted
And, in their pursuit of added creative options, Leicester City seem to have fallen on one man, in the form of out-of-favour Englishman Todd Cantwell, currently of Norwich.
The Foxes are thought to have joined the queue for the 23 year-old midfielder’s services, according to The Sun, with Norwich ready to let him go for as little as 15 million pounds this January as they look to fund signings of their own in an attempt to beat the drop.

Still young, Cantwell has struggled this season, but impressed when in the Premier League with the Canaries last season, and has all the tools to excel at the highest level.
Will Leicester make their move?
