Leicester in the race for Noni Madueke
Leicester City are still chasing a winger to cap off an impressive summer, having already signed Boubakary Soumare from Lille, Patson Daka from RB Salzburg and Ryan Bertrand on a free transfer.
Noni Madueke has got the new season off to a sensational start at PSV Eindhoven. Steve Howey wants Leicester City to win the race for the winger’s signature #LCFC https://t.co/eKDZEgHoPJ

As per the Sun, one of their top targets is PSV wide man Noni Madueke, with the 19-year-old having kicked off the season in style. In his six appearances in all competitions so far, Madueke has found the net five times and also provided an assist, averaging a goal contribution every 73 minutes.
The report suggests that PSV have slapped a 20 million pound price tag on their talent however, which could prove to be a stumbling block in the progression of any deal for the Englishman.
At just 19, it would represent a gamble but, if Wesley Fofana’s improvement is anything to go on, could provide the Foxes with a huge profit opportunity.
Arsenal choose Odegaard over Maddison
Elsewhere in attack, Brendan Rodgers has been handed a boost in the creative areas, as Arsenal appear to have opted for Martin Odegaard to solve their attacking issues.
News that #AFC are in advanced talks with Real Madrid over Martin Odegaard has not exactly been received positively given the Maddison interest so thought I’d wheel out this piece comparing the two & why I think the Norwegian is the better deal (just) https://t.co/szbRsASnHy

It had previously been thought that Arsenal were negotiating with Leicester City for James Maddison to fill their creative void, but recent developments have seen them turn their attentions elsewhere, which will surely come as a relief to Foxes fans.
Leicester interested in Tottenham target
As per Italian outlets [via the Leicester mercury], Leicester City’s defensive recruitment is not yet done. With Wesley Fofana ruled out for much of the season following a shocking pre-season injury, the midlands outfit have strengthened in the form of Jannick Vestergaard, who debuted against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend.

However, their business may not stop there, with Brendan Rodgers’ side credited with an interest in one time Tottenham target Takehiro Tomiyasu, who was part of the Japan side that finished in fourth place at the Olympic games.
With Tottenham thought to still be sniffing around the defender, Leicester will have to act quick if they want to get their man.
