Leeds United dealt yet another major injury blow ahead of Newcastle clash
Leeds have been dealt yet another injury blow ahead of their bottom of the table clash against Newcastle United on Saturday.
The Yorkshire outfit impressed despite a myriad of injuries as they snatched a 3-2 victory over West Ham, thanks to a Jack Harrison hat-trick, at the London stadium.

In doing so, they recorded their first back-to-back wins of the season, and moved nine points clear of the relegation zone, something that could increase as they take on Eddie Howe’s Newcastle side at Elland Road.
Triple personnel blow ahead of Magpies encounter
During the game with West Ham, Leeds suffered another pair of injuries, losing both Adam Forshaw and Junior Firpo to hamstring problems. And, while Forshaw took to social media to promise he would be back as soon as possible, he seems likely to miss this clash.
Firpo too is likely to miss out, and the news gets worse for Leeds. Influential striker Patrick Bamford has suffered yet another injury in a season that has never really got going for the former Chelsea forward.
From Bielsa’s press conference – Patrick Bamford has sustained a fresh injury, affecting his foot. Looks like that will keep him out of the Newcastle game. Forshaw and Firpo have hamstring issues and sound like they will be missing too. #lufc

There is no return date set for his foot injury, but Leeds United fans will be hoping it does not keep him sidelined for too much longer, with the number of injuries the club already have at a Premier League high.
Three points at the weekend would go a long way to ensuring that he isn’t missed, however.
