Leeds handed potential triple boost ahead of West Ham
Leeds could be set to welcome back three players for their meeting with West Ham.
West Ham vs Leeds
Leeds United are set to take on West Ham for the second time in the space of a week.
The Whites faced off with the Hammers in an FA Cup 3rd round tie last weekend. West Ham came out on top on that occasion, winning 2-0.
The pair are now set to face off at the London Stadium on Sunday at 2 pm UK time.
Much like last weekend, a win for West Ham does seem pretty likely. The Londoners are currently 4th in the Premier League table having won their last three league outings.
Leeds, on the other hand, are languishing down in 16th place in the English top-flight.
Marcelo Bielsa’s would pick up a win in their last league outing, but that was against a very poor Burnley side.
So, if Leeds are to get a win on Sunday, they will likely need all the help they can get.
Leeds trio back for West Ham?
And now, it appears as though the Yorkshire outfit could be set for a triple boost for the West Ham game. Patrick Bamford was Leeds’ top scorer last term, but has featured in just seven ties this season due to injury.
However, when speaking on Friday, Marcelo Bielsa suggested that Patrick Bamford, along with Rodrigo and Pascal Struijk, could be options to return on Sunday:
“He [Bamford] hasn’t had a set-back, he’s still evolving. His recovery still hasn’t been finalised.”
“It’s probable that Pascal, Rodrigo and Bamford are options to return.”
