Leaked: Official photos of Man United’s 90s-inspired 2021/22 third jersey
The first official photos of the 3rd kit set to be donned by Premier League giants Manchester United this season have surfaced on Friday.
The 2020/21 campaign of course saw Adidas opt to shake things up in a major way when it came to the alternative strip handed to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.
The Red Devils were fitted with a striking black and white zebra-like design, which inevitably went on to split opinion amongst the club’s fanbase.
If the latest photos to have come to the fore online this evening are anything to go by, though, then Adidas look set to revert to an altogether more retro look for the season ahead.
As revealed by the reliable Footy Headlines, Manchester United’s latest 3rd jersey will be inspired by the iconic away kit sported by the club’s stars between 1993 and 1995.
A dark blue will act as the base colour, with black/navy angular designs throughout.
Adidas’ trademark three stripes, meanwhile, will take on a bright yellow tone, matching up with the ‘TeamViewer’ sponsor emblazoned across the shirt’s front:

‘See how they are’
Elsewhere on the Red Devils front on Friday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an insight into the potential availability of summer additions Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane for the club’s season opener versus Leeds United:
OGS on Sancho and Varane: “I need to see how they are. I can’t see them being available for Everton but hopefully they will be ready to be on the bench [against Leeds].”
