Lava Yuva 2 Pro announced with Helio G37 and refreshed design

Lava has launched another budget offering in India with the Yuva 2 Pro – a direct successor to last year’s Yuva Pro. The new model brings an updated MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which is also expandable via the microSD slot. You also get a redesigned back now with a new camera island.

The rest of the specs match last year’s model – you get a 13MP main camera and two additional VGA cameras. Selfies are handled by a 5MP front shooter that sits in a teardrop notch housing. The phone runs Android 12 and brings a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging via USB-C. Other extras include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a headphone jack with FM radio support.

Lava Yuva 2 Pro is available in Glass Lavender, Glass Green and Glass White colors. The price is set at INR 7,999 ($96). It is available directly from Lava’s online store.
