Koke Rates Messi Greatest Footballer Of All Time

Atletico Madrid midfielder, Koke has hailed Lionel Messi as the greatest footballer of all time.

Messi recently boosted his legendary status by leading Argentina to victory at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

In an interview with Diario AS as quoted by Madriduniversal.com, Koke congratulated the eight-time Pichichi (Spanish golden boot) winner.

“Lionel Messi? He is the best player of all time,” Koke said.

“He is just worthy of taking the World Cup and we have to congratulate him. There is no discussion to find out who is the best in the World.”

Messi tallied up seven goals and three assists in seven games at Qatar 2022.

He has scored 793 goals and supplied 350 assists in 1003 career games.

La Albiceleste secured the trophy after a penalty shootout that ended 4-2 following a thrilling 3-3 draw in regulation time on December 18 at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.
