Khufiya Teaser: Netflix Unveils Wordless First Look at Vishal Bhardwaj's Film

The Khufiya trailer is here. At an event in Mumbai on Monday, Netflix unveiled a 35-second silent first look at Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film which stars Tabu and Ali Fazal in the lead. As expected from such a brief teaser, Khufiya’s trailer only offers us glimpses of its cast. Tabu seems to be struggling with something in the first, Ashish Vidyarthi stares at someone in another, Wamiqa Gabbi is screaming loudly, Ali Fazal is laughing to himself elsewhere, and Tabu comes back at the end to light a cigarette. It is more or less that. You might say Bhardwaj offers less here than Christopher Nolan in the trailer for his next film, Oppenheimer.

Monday’s announcement also revealed a new addition to Khufiya’s cast in Bangladeshi actress Azmeri Haque Badhon (Rehana Maryam Noor). At the same time, Netflix unveiled six first photos of the film Bhardwaj. I have attached one with the story – you can check out the others from us for Khufiya.

Based on the novel “Escape to Nowhere” by RAW counterintelligence chief Amar Bhushan, Khufiya is the story of RAW agent Krishna Mehra (Tabu), who is given a crucial mission that leaves her juggling her double identity of spy and lover.

Bhardwaj directs Khufiya from a script he co-wrote with Rohan Narula (Office vs. Office). Bhardwaj is also the producer, through Vishal Bhardwaj Films.

“Working on films that explore people, characters, conflict and relationships is something I really enjoy. Khufiya is a really special project for me,” Bhardwaj said in a prepared statement. worked very hard to create a slow-paced suspense thriller, and together with Netflix, we’re thrilled to bring the film to audiences around the world.”

Tabu added, “As an actor, I’ve always wanted to be part of different stories and narratives. With the character I play in Netflix’s Khufiya, I’ve been extremely lucky to explore a very distinct story. with [Bhardwaj] is always a pleasure and a very rewarding experience. We are thrilled to be working with Netflix and bringing the film to entertainment lovers around the world.

Khufiya is “coming soon” to Netflix in India and globally.
