Juventus tracking Manchester United forward Anthony Martial for possible January move
Juventus after Anthony Martial
Serie A giants Juventus are hot on the tail of Manchester United forward Anthony Martial after the future of the French international at Old Trafford seems all but guaranteed to feature an eventual move away.
Via a report from Goal in Italy, the serious injury suffered by key winger Federico Chiesa has forced Juventus into the market in January with Martial one of their prime targets for business.
That report was corroborated by Fabrizio Romano yesterday as well as being updated today via Twitter, with claims that while there is no direct contact with United over the former AS Monaco stand out, they’re monitoring the financial outlay it would cost to bring him to the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus are interested in Anthony Martial as revealed yesterday – no direct contact with Man United yet, they’re just keeping tabs on potential costs of the loan deal [salary plus loan fee]. 🇫🇷 #Juventus
Sevilla & Barça still interested too, depends on Man Utd final conditions. https://t.co/brRPrhKMQ7

Juventus are not the only club harboring an interest in the United forward either, with La Liga outfits Barcelona and Sevilla also tracking his situation in the northwest of England.
Issues at United ‘resolved’ according to Rangnick
Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick gave an update surrounding the recent situation surrounding Anthony Martial after it was reported that the Red Devils forward refused to be selected for the matchday squad in their recent Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
For Rangnick, that matter has now been closed;
“I had a conversation with Anthony on Sunday, a personal conversation with him about what happened and how I saw the whole situation. The matter is now resolved. Let’s see.” Note: quote provided by Fabrizio Romano
Martial has since spoken out about those claims via his personal Instagram account to the contrary, stating “I will never refuse to play a match for Man United. I’ve been here for 7 years and I never disrespected and will never disrespect the club and the fans.”
Whether or not shots have been exchanged between player and manager, or if it was simply a huge misunderstanding, remains to be seen.
