Juventus set to make first move for Arsenal target in aims of Manuel Locatelli repeat
Juventus pip Arsenal to Manuel Locatelli
In the summer transfer window, it was thought that Arsenal were interested in Italian star Manuel Locatelli, who impressed at Euro 2020.
Indeed, their interest was confirmed by the Sassuolo CEO, who claimed that the Gunners had made a bid for the Italian outfit’s star man.
Sassuolo CEO Carnevali to Sky Sport: “Arsenal have made an official bid for Locatelli. They’re pushing hard to sign Manuel and it’s an important bid… we will see.
Also Juventus want Locatelli and we’ve a special relationship with them. We’ve a new meeting scheduled with Juve”.

Ultimately, however, they were pipped to the post by Juventus, with the Old Lady agreeing an initial loan for the Italian, with an obligation to buy in the coming years.

Now, they could be set for a repeat performance.
Vlahovic the next target
Now, as per recent reports, the pair of clubs could be set to go head-to-head once more, this time over Dusan Vlahovic.
Gianluca di Marzio claimed that the Gunners were interested in the Fiorentina man, who has netted 10 times in 13 games for La Viola so far in this season’s Serie A.
