Jio True 5G services launched in 10 cities in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Maharashtra
Reliance Jio on Monday announced the launch of its True 5G services in 10 cities – Agra, Kanpur, Meerut, Prayagraj, Tirupati, Nellore, Kozhikode, Thrissur, Nagpur, Ahmednagar.
Jio said its users in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer to enjoy unlimited data at speeds of up to 1Gbps at no additional cost starting Monday. These cities are found in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Maharashtra.
Jio’s spokesperson said the company has accelerated the speed and intensity of rolling out True 5G across the country.
“We are proud to deploy Jio True 5G services in these 10 cities across four states. We have accelerated the speed and intensity of True 5G deployment across the country because we want every Jio user to experience the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G technology in the new year 2023. These newly launched True 5G cities are important tourism and business destinations as well as key education hubs in our country,” the spokesperson said.
A statement from the company said that True 5G has a triple benefit due to its standalone 5G architecture with an advanced fifth-generation (5G) mobile system network with its zero dependency on 4G network, the largest and best mix of 5G spectrum on 700 MHz, 3500 MHz and 26 GHz. bands and its carrier aggregation that seamlessly combine these 5G frequencies into a single robust “data highway.”
Recently, Reliance also announced the deployment of Jio True 5G in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ludhiana and Siliguri. Reliance’s 5G services are now available in a total of 72 cities. Jio hopes to roll out its “True 5G” services to every city and taluk in India by the end of the year.
Reliance Jio is now offering unlimited 5G data access to select customers in the city where its 5G services are available.
