Jarrod Bowen injury latest ahead of West Ham’s clash with Sevilla
An injury update on West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen has emerged ahead of the Hammers’ meeting with Sevilla.
West Ham will face off with Sevilla in the first of two Europa League Round of 16 ties on Thursday the 10th of March. The first leg will take place in Spain, with West Ham at home later this month.
The Hammers are entering this stage of the competition for the first time in their history but will still likely fancy their chances.

Sevilla, though, are no pushover and have dominated this competition in the 21st century.
Julen Lopetegui’s side are currently 2nd in La Liga and boast the best defence in the Spanish top-flight this term, conceding just 18 in 27.

As a result, West Ham are no doubt keen to have as strong a squad as possible available on Thursday.
However, it does look as though the game could come too soon for Jarrod Bowen. Bowen would pick up an injury as West Ham lost 1-0 to Liverpool this past weekend.
And now, the Evening Standard are reporting that West Ham fear they will be without Jarrod Bowen for their Europa League trip to Sevilla on Thursday.
It is added that West Ham confirmed on Sunday that an initial scan revealed no serious damage to Bowen’s achilles, but he is still suffering from significant swelling:

Given Bowen has been one of West Ham’s biggest attacking threats this seaosn, him missing out vs Sevilla would be a huge blow.
