Jaadugar: Netflix sets July 15 release date for Jitendra Kumar’s sports comedy-drama movie

Jaadugar release date is here. The sports drama film Jaadugar, starring actors Jitendra Kumar, Arushi Sharma and Jaaved Jaaferi, will premiere on Netflix on July 15.
Set in a city with a passion for football, Jaadugar is the story of a little magician, Meenu (Kumar), with no athletic talent, who must prove his worth in a prestigious intercolonial football tournament, in order to marry the love of his life.
The film is produced by Posham Pa Pictures and directed by Sameer Saxena, known for his work on popular series like Yeh Meri Family, Permanent Roommates and TVF Tripling.
Saxena said the team’s attempt was to present a new take on sports and romance.
“With magic as another key element of the film, we tried to tell a story that was entertaining and aimed at an extremely wide audience. With Netflix as our partner, we hope that the love with which we made the film will translate to screens around the world,” the director said in a prepared statement.
Amit Golani and Saurabh Khanna of Posham Pa Pictures billed the film as a “light tale” set in a small town.
“Associating with a global platform like Netflix has enhanced the film’s canvas, and Posham Pa is thrilled to see his first work featured on the service,” the duo added.
Writer-producer Biswapati Sarkar called Jaadugar a healthy family entertainer.
“It’s wholesome entertainment, meant to be seen with your loved ones. Unlike sports movies that revere elite athletes, Jaadugar celebrates ordinary people who play sports, not for pride or glory, but only for the sake of it. love of the game.
“We are extremely thrilled to partner with Netflix for this special film and look forward to audiences around the world to experience the ‘magic’ of Jaadugar,” Sarkar added.
Jaadugar releases July 15 on Netflix in India and globally. It was first revealed in March last year.
