itel P40 is official with 6000 mAh battery and 6.6 inch screen

The itel P40 was announced today, becoming the brand’s latest entry-level offering. The phone offers a large screen and a big battery as its main selling points.

The P40 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a teardrop notch on the top for the 5MP selfie shooter .

There are two more cameras on the back – a 13MP main shooter and a VGA depth sensor.

The phone is powered by the modest Unisoc SC9863A chipset. It has eight Cortex-A55 CPU cores running at 1.6 GHz, while the GPU is PowerVR GE8322, clocked at 550 MHz.

The manufacturer hasn’t revealed the actual RAM as it quotes it with dynamic RAM included – 64+7GB, 32+6GB and 64+4GB. Chances are we’re looking at 64/4 builds GB, 32/3 GB and 64/2 GB of RAM.

The itel P40 runs Android 12GB Edition. The battery is 6,000mAh and supports 18W charging. Other highlights include a rear fingerprint scanner and face unlock features.

The price is INR 7,699, which is just $92/€88, and the phone can already be purchased from the company’s store. Color options are Yellow, Blue and Black.
