Incoming Vivo Y78+ with triple cameras and big battery

The vivo Y77 series has been hugely successful in China, and now it’s time for a follow-up. The vivo V2271A, which is expected to arrive as the vivo Y78+, appeared on TENAA’s website alongside a handful of specs. The new smartphone will have a battery with a minimum capacity of 4,900 mAh, which means that it will probably inherit the typical capacity of 5,000 mAh from its predecessor.

This vivo phone is listed with three cameras and although there is no more official information, rumors suggest that the phone will remain only in China, while a lighter version, probably called vivo Y78, will arrive on the international markets, including India.

The full list of specs should follow soon, along with images of the device, but we’re expecting a Dimensity chipset, Full HD+ panel with fast refresh rate and fast battery charging. Since the phone is aimed at the domestic market, it should ship with OriginOS Ocean and if it does internationally, that’s when vivo will put Funtouch OS on top of Android 13.
