Alexa Bliss has faced a ton of criticism for her current gimmick. Since splitting from the Fiend, Bliss has become the focal point of WWE Raw with her supernatural antics. Now with Lilly, a creepy doll by her side, Bliss’ gimmick has gone from being supernatural to sort of ridiculous. However, she has a message for her critics.
Alexa Bliss is enjoying her current gimmick
One can’t deny that Alexa Bliss is one of the greatest characters of this generation. Even as the Goddess of WWE when she held the Raw Women’s Championship, Bliss was one of WWE’s most dependable characters. But her current role has taken her to the upper echelon of character work in WWE.
Of screen, Alexa Bliss is the sheer opposite of her WWE character. No one expects Bliss to possess people on her way to the grocery store, but her work in the ring is a testament to her greatness. Despite the work she’s putting in, fans have ripped the character to shreds and labeled the supernatural gimmick too corny for the modern style of wrestling.

Alexa responded to the criticism she faced on Twitter with a sharp tweet. She claims people can say what they want, as she’s actually enjoying herself in the ring. So far, Bliss has become WWE’s most talked about performer and she’s the center of everyone’s attention.
The same people criticising Alexa are the same people who loved the Fiend and the Undertaker. Bliss might not reach the lengths of the Deadman, but she’s proven to be a far more valuable asset to WWE than Bray Wyatt.

Bliss qualifies for Money in the Bank
On Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match by beating Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. In a battle between two former Women’s Tag Team Champions, the erratic duo of Bliss and Cross triumphed.
Bliss received new entrance music on Raw, perfectly suited to her character. Cross debuted a new superhero gimmick, an idea she pitched to creative, and they approved it within a matter of months.
With the win of Nia and Shayna, Bliss and Cross head into Money in the Bank as the favourites to win the briefcase. Fans would lose their minds with rage if Bliss wins an automatic shot for the Raw Women’s Championship. However, imagine the pop one would receive when someone eventually beats supernatural Bliss for her title.
