How to watch the BAFTA 2023 Film Awards in the UK and US

Awards season is upon us, and for the British film industry, the BAFTAs are the crème de la crème.

When are the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards?

The 2023 BAFTA Film Awards will take place on Sunday February 19, 2023 at 7 p.m. GMT. The event will be broadcast live from the Royal Festival Hall in London.

What channel are the BAFTAs on?

If you’re in the UK, the show will be shown live on BBC One and BBC One HD in the UK.

You can watch red carpet arrivals on BAFTA social media such as TikTok, Facebook, TwitterInstagram and YouTube.

How to watch the BAFTAs online in the UK and US

If you’re in the UK and paying the license fee, the easiest way to watch the BAFTAs online will be via BBC iPlayer, which you can use to watch BBC One live.

In the United States, the BAFTAs will be broadcast on BritBox. From now until February 21, you can sign up for just $1.99 per month for the first two months. After that, a subscription costs $7.99 per month.

Who hosts the BAFTA Awards?

Acting British royalty Richard E. Grant will host the ceremony. Meanwhile, behind-the-scenes coverage will be provided by the hilarious Alison Hammond.

Red carpet coverage of the event will be hosted by film journalist Ali Plumb and TV presenter Vick Hope.

Who are the 2023 BAFTA nominees?

The final shortlist nominations for the BAFTAs are now available. All Quiet on the Western Front leads the way with 14 nominations, followed closely by The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once with 10 nominations each.
