The January transfer window is a crucial one for Newcastle and their new owners.
The Magpies are expected to go on and become one of England’s most dominant sides over the next decade, being backed by the SAPIF, which had an estimated worth of £320b in 2020.
First of all, though, Newcastle need to avoid relegation in the 2021/22 season.
At present, Eddie Howe’s side are 19th in the Premier League having won just one league game all campaign.
But, despite their lack of victories, Newcastle are still currently only three points from safety.
So, if they have a good January, you would assume they would be able to kick on and beat the drop over the coming months.
Newcastle have already made one transfer this month, announcing Kieran Trippier on Friday.
And if they continue to sign players similar to the La Liga winner, avoiding relegation should be fairly easy.
Here is how Newcastle could line up following their dream January transfer window.

Starting at the back. This is Newcastle’s main problem area. They have conceded the joint-most goals in the PL this term at time of writing, letting in a staggering 42 in 19 outings.
And, whilst Trippier should help fix that, it is obvious more work must be done.
Newcastle are seemingly aware of this and have been linked with some top centre-backs of late including Sven Botman and Diego Carlos.
In a dream scenario, Newcastle would be able to land both in January.
Elsewhere, Newcastle are also said to have joined the hunt for want way Everton left-back, Lucas Digne. He, like Carlos and Botman, would be a big coup if Newcastle can pull it off.
Further forward, Newcastle do have some semi-decent central midfield options.
However, the North East outfit are said to have an interest in Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny.
The Egyptian would not be the most extravagant signing, but he is a solid player and would no doubt improve Newcastle’s midfield.
Sticking with Arsenal, Newcastle have also been tipped to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
101 have covered reports that suggest Newcastle are eyeing a new centre-forward, which makes a fair bit of sense given Callum Wilson is currently injured and their only decent option in that spot.
And, with Aubameyang reportedly allowed to leave Arsenal, Newcastle should try and make a swoop for the Gabon star.
Finally, Newcastle are said to be showing an interest in Norwich’s Todd Cantwell, who can leave Carrow Road this month.
The North East side are not in desperate need of reinforcements in attacking midfield. But if Cantwell is available, he would certainly improve Newcastle’s squad.
