Honor X50i was launched in China as the brand’s latest X-series offering. The new Honor smartphone comes with upgrades over last year’s Honor X40i and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The Honor X50i comes in four color options and features a 6.7-inch LTPS LCD display with up to 90Hz refresh rate. It sports a dual rear camera, led by a 100-megapixel main sensor and is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.

Honor X50i price

Honor X50i is priced at CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 16,600) for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is at price of CNY 1,699 (around Rs 20,000). It is currently available for purchase in China in Apricot Flower Feather, Magic Night Black, Mo Yuqing, and Willow Wind (translated from Chinese) color options through the Honor Mall store.

Details of the handset’s global availability and pricing in other markets, including India, have yet to be announced by the company.

Honor X50i Specifications

The Honor X50i dual SIM (Nano) runs on MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 and sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2388 pixels) LTPS LCD display with up to 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 19.9:9. The screen has a center-aligned punch-hole cutout to house the selfie shooter. Under the hood, the new smartphone packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. For increased performance, the onboard memory can be virtually expanded to an additional 7GB using unused storage.

For optics, the Honor X50i features a rear dual-camera setup with a 100-megapixel main camera sensor paired with an f/1.8 aperture lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with a 2-speed lens. f/2.4 aperture. The camera comes with an LED flash and is designed to provide 10x digital zoom. For selfies and video chats, Honor has integrated an 8-megapixel camera on the front with an f/2.0 aperture lens.

The Honor X50i offers 256 GB of built-in storage. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, AGPS, Beidou, Glonass, and USB Type-C port. It has a side fingerprint sensor for authentication. Other onboard sensors include an ambient light sensor, compass, gravity sensor, and proximity light sensor. The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging. It measures 162.9×74.5×7.48mm and weighs 175g.
