Honor Magic 5 Lite is getting closer to launch as all of its specs and renders have surfaced online. The Chinese smartphone brand’s latest Magic series handset could be powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as standard. The Honor Magic 5 Lite features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A triple rear camera setup, led by a 64-megapixel main sensor, 5,100mAh battery and a 16-megapixel selfie sensor are the other key specs expected. The new Honor Magic 5 Lite phone will succeed the Honor Magic 4 Lite, launched last year.


German publication has leaked renders and specs of the rumored Honor Magic 5 Lite. The renders show design resemblance to the Honor Magic 4 Lite, Huawei Mate 40 and Huawei Mate 50 series smartphones. It is seen with a punch-hole cutout placed in the center of the screen. Additionally, it appears to include a triple rear camera with an LED flash. The image shows the volume key and the power button placed on the left edge of the smartphone.

Separately, tipster SnoopyTech (@snoopytech) also via Twitter leak Honor Magic 5 Lite specs. According to the leak, it will come in Emerald Green, Midnight Black and Titanium Silver hues with Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12. It is said to have a Full HD+ (1080, 2400 pixels) OLED curved display of 6.67 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 800 nits of maximum brightness. The screen could offer TUV certifications for eye protection. It is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage as standard.

For optics, the Honor Magic 5 Lite features a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 64-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, there could be a 16-megapixel sensor on the front. It could also contain an in-screen fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Connectivity options may include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, and a USB Type-C port. The Honor Magic 5 Lite is expected to be backed by a 5,100mAh battery. It could measure 161.6 x 73.9 x 7.9 mm and weigh 175 grams.
