Honor 80 GT certified before its possible launch on December 26

Last month, Honor introduced the first three smartphones in its 80 family: the eponymous Honor 80, the high-end Honor 80 Pro and the more affordable Honor 80 SE. They will soon be joined by a few new models, if the rumor mill has any correct information.
We are talking about the Honor 80 GT and a flat screen version of the Honor 80 Pro. Both of these devices have reportedly been certified for sale in China by 3C, and they carry model numbers AGT-AN00 and ANB-AN00. The Honor 80 Pro flatscreen is exactly what it sounds like – all the power of the original phone but without the screen curves.
The Honor 80 GT, meanwhile, would use the same slightly underclocked iteration of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset as the Pro. It should feature a lower resolution FHD+ screen resolution, but a higher 144Hz refresh rate for this display panel.
According to another anonymous source, Honor is planning to hold a launch event in China on December 26, where these two models will be unveiled alongside the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet, which would come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 SoC at the helm. . It’s rumored to be the world’s first IMAX Enhanced tablet, and it’s expected to support 33W fast charging and come in blue and orange.
